The laser permits the drilling of complex holes at various angles and depths within critical tolerances....all at high repition rates. The few examples illustrated below demonstrate general capabilities.

1/8" diameter cooling holes are drilled at compound angles for this component used in a land-based turbine.	Cooling holes were drilled through 1-1/8" thick high temperature alloy steel casting. The hole diameter is .060" ± .002".
